DMYTRO FARION MD Passed away peacefully in his ninety-ninth year of life. Born on October 30, 1921 (Bohatkivtsi, Ukraine). He finished medical school in 1950 (Munich, Germany) and was a devoted doctor who practiced medicine for fifty years. Beloved husband of Maria (nee Cybyk) (deceased); loving father of George, Roma (Thomas Villano), Anya (Frank Keeley), Iryna (Ihor Mahlay) and Marko (Christine Lash); cherished grandfather of Dominick, Danylko, Katya, Andrij, Oksana, Lesia, Orest, Damyan, Lina, Marko and great-grandfather of Jacob, Emilia and Taissa; dearest brother of Maria and Ivan (both deceased); dearest son of Stefan and Anna (both deceased).


Funeral Service Friday, August 28 at St. Josaphat Cathedral at 12 noon (PLEASE MEET AT CATHEDRAL). Visitation in Cathedral from 11 a.m. until time of service. Interment St. Andrew Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to St. Josaphat Cathedral, Ukrainian Museum Archives or St. Vladimir Orphanage Fund.
