Joanne Yakubik

JOANNE YAKUBIK age 67, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018. Loving daughter of the late John A. and Mary A. (nee Stropki) Yakubik; dear sister of Mary Ann (deceased), Retired Major John E. and Theresa; granddaughter of the late George and Anna (nee Franko) Stropki of Byesville, OH and the late Andrew and Anna (nee Kresak) Yakubik of Cambridge, OH; beloved niece, cousin and friend of many. Longtime member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church and Altar and Rosary Society; Joanne enjoyed being a substitute organist for St. Wendelin during her high school years. She worked on the parish wellness team, providing health newsletters to parishioners, and she enjoyed her flower and vegetable gardens.

Friends may call at THE KOLODIY-LAZUTA FUNERAL HOME, 5677 STATE RD., PARMA, THURSDAY 4-8 P.M. Prayer Service at the funeral home Friday, July 6 at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m. Interment Ohio Holy Cross Cemetery.
