KENNETH A. LEES age 79, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2023. Beloved husband of Corrine (nee Hughes) (deceased) and Sharon; dear father of Carolyn Lees-Hotton (Bruce), Christopher (Jordan Perme) and Michael (Ruby Smyth Meyers-McEnroe); loving grandfather of Rebecca and Marissa Hotton; cherished brother of Patricia Dodig (Albert-deceased); fond uncle of Pamela Armbruster (Ron), Amy Piatak (Steve) and Renee Domaratz (Tony) and great-uncle of six. U.S. Army Veteran – Vietnam War. Ken was an auto enthusiast with a particular love for classic cars. He fondly told stories about the Corvettes he once owned and the races he won when he was younger. He was also fascinated with model trains – it was always a special treat for him to open a new train car on his birthday or Christmas to add to his collection. Ken was completely captivated by the magic of visiting Walt Disney World with his family. He always seemed to know every new detail about the park and enthusiastically shared his knowledge with everyone he spoke to. Most of all, Ken loved his family and he worked hard his whole life to provide for them. He believed strongly in a good academic education for his children, but also encouraged them to play musical instruments, participate in sports and pursue their interests. He was a loving and devoted husband who always enjoyed taking his wife out for dinner, treating her to movies and planning trips with her to Niagara Falls. Every single thing he did was with his family in mind and he will be dearly missed by all of them.
